The trailing drag of the car, which is used on those cars to pull air from underneath the car, up and out of the engine bay behind the rear glass as a low-pressure zone.

That has a rear-facing non-ram-scoop connected to the throttle linkage. The panther eyes open up at full throttle.

If this car goes fast enough, with the throttle wide open, I wonder if the trailing low pressure drag will actually starve the engine for air, and make it either run too rich if carbureted, or have to dial back timing and power, along with reducing fuel injection, due to a lack of airflow into the engine.

Those ram scoops are not being fed by a forward facing intake, or an airbox with access to airflow.

It looks fancy, but I wonder if it is actually detrimental at high speeds.

That’s what I was thinking. You’d be better off with a snorkel.

I just feel like the angular design of the Pantera doesn’t fit well with the more rounded shape of the GT. I’d still totally rock that though.

All power to the people! Oh not that black panther... Panteras are getting more expensive, except the ones people have made really cheesy and ruined. I want a Mangusta so badly.... But I am not really ok with the mods. If I had one it would look like this:

Its sad, they were not that expensive when I was in high school. The mechanic of our water district fleet has a wicked black one, I worked there in the summer and it was the first one I ever saw. I love my Z but the thought of a Pantera with the race flares, huge rears and Motul livery makes my loins ache.
